Free Audiobooks from Audible.com

Amazon has a great deal going on right now where you can get a bunch of professionally narrated, expensive audiobooks for FREE. These audiobooks usually cost anywhere from 15 to over 30 dollars so you are getting a GREAT deal. Seriously, I just “bought” almost all of the freebies below and my total purchase price would have been $586.19. I didn’t spend a penny! Grab these while you can.

I don’t know if you have to have a Kindle to take advantage of the offer. If you don’t, it might work if you have a free Kindle app which you can download here. By the way, you aren’t limited to listening to the Audible.com audiobooks on your Kindle or Kindle app. You can listed to them on an iPod, MP3 player, mobile phones, GPS, your computer and you can even burn them onto CD.

In order to get the free audio books, you have to first “purchase” the Kindle versions of the books below. Each book that I list below is free, so it won’t actually cost you anything. Once you’ve purchased the book you will see a link to Audible.com. You do need an Amazon account for all that I’m about to describe.

Here are screenshots of the process and then I’ll list the books.

Click on one of my links. You’ll go to Amazon’s page for the book. Click “Buy now with 1-Click” (the big orange button on the upper right).

*Click on the screenshots to see a larger size photo.

Once you’ve bought the book (which is actually free) you’ll be directed to a page that looks like this. On the right side you’ll see that the title you just bought on Amazon is FREE at Audible.com. Just click on the yellow button “Buy at Audible.com”.

If for some reason you don’t see the Audible.com offer, try refreshing your page.

Next you’ll see a page like this. Click on the orange button to the right that says “Next Step”:

You’ll now be directed to the checkout page. Click “Complete Purchase”.

Now the audiobook is yours! If you are wondering how to download the audiobook, you have a couple of choices. You can click on the orange “Deliver” button on the lower left and the title will be sent to your Kindle wirelessly.

Or, you can click on the green “My Library” button across the top and either download it to your computer or ask to have your title sent to you wirelessly. The books are always available in your Audible.com account (which you do NOT need to sign up for if you clicked over from your Amazon account) so you can access them anytime.

If you’ve already purchased any of these books and would like the Audible.com title for free, just click on the Audible.com link for the book, click to purchase it (even though it shows a price) and it should be free when you arrive at the Audible.com site. That’s how it worked for me anyway! If that doesn’t work, delete the title out of your Kindle library and repurchase it (for free). Then the link should show up.

You can also get audiobooks at a discounted price for some titles you may have already purchased. Click here for a list of all the current Whispersync for Voice books. I’ve listed some of the free titles below.

Enjoy!

This is one of the reasons why I love my Kindle so much. Its more than paid for itself with all of the free books I’ve downloaded and freebies like I’m posting today. If you don’t have one yet, they’ve come out with a new one: The Kindle Paperwhite. Yeah, that’s me drooling. Wink
