We have finally finished ALL of our our big yearly link checks and the needed updates of the printable and online schedules for this year.
In our big yearly updates we update/fix any broken links and sometimes add or replace books when they’ve gone out of print, add or remove activities and videos, create new features, etc. to make our curriculum even better!
On this page you can see which curriculums have been updated and what updates were made.
You can also check the online schedule pages for updates made after our big yearly update. We’ll post updates as we make them on the online schedule landing pages, so you can always know if your printable schedule is totally up-to-date or not and what has been changed, fixed, or updated.
Actions and Reactions
- Broken links were fixed
- Some instructions and information at the beginning of the schedule were updated due to our website upgrade
- The book A Crash Course in Forces and Motion with Max Axiom Super Scientist: 4D An Augmented Reading Science Experience replaced an older version of the same book.
- A different Snap Circuits kit was added to replace one that is no longer sold
American History Year 1
- Broken links were fixed
- Some instructions and information at the beginning of the schedule were updated due to our website upgrade
American History Year 2
- Broken links were fixed
- Some instructions and information at the beginning of the schedule were updated due to our website upgrade
Biology
- The schedule format was upgraded
- Broken links were fixed
- Videos were added (and some were removed)
- An activity supply list was created
- Activities were added
- Some instructions and information at the beginning of the schedule were updated due to our website upgrade
- The unscheduled book list was updated
- The printable schedule was color-coded to make things easier to read and locate
- The worksheets were compiled into a single free workbook for convenience
- Broken links in the online textbook were fixed and a few videos were added and/or replaced
Botany
- The book The Lives of Trees was added
- 20 Ways to Draw a Tulip was replaced with Draw Like an Artist: 100 Flowers and Plants
- LOTS of videos were added
- Extra assignments and projects were added
- Printables were added
- Broken links were fixed
- The schedule layout was upgraded
- The book Trees, Leaves, Flowers, and Seeds was added for younger students (to use instead of Botany for Dummies)
- Some recipes were added
- Botany in 8 Lessons was scheduled by day instead of by week
- The weekly topics lists were expanded for better record-keeping and reference
- Some of the unscheduled books were added to the schedule
- The DK book Propagating Plants was removed (and a propagation activity was added instead)
- Some instructions and information at the beginning of the schedule were updated due to our website upgrade
- The chocolate kit was removed (since it’s no longer available) and was replaced with a recipe using chocolate
- A paper making kit was added
- A flower press was added for a long-term project
- The online schedule now has a beta feature where weekly videos are displayed directly on the schedule page, so students don’t have to go to YouTube to view them
Chemistry in the Kitchen
- Broken links were fixed
- A video was added
- The printable schedule was color-coded to make things easier to read and locate

Geography & Cultures Curriculum

Jr. Geography
- The book Wow Canada was replaced with Weird but True – Canada
- The Mutiny on the Bounty book was replaced with an Illustrated Classics version.
- Broken links were fixed
- Information at the beginning of the printable schedule was updated to reflect the changes on our new website
Language Arts
- Broken links were fixed
- Some instructions and information at the beginning of the schedule were updated due to our website upgrade.
- A Child’s Introduction to Poetry was updated to the revised edition of the book
- The printable schedule was color-coded to make things easier to read and locate
Little Kids’ Anatomy
- Broken links were fixed
- Some instructions and information at the beginning of the schedule were updated due to our website upgrade
- The printable schedule was upgraded and color-coded to make things easier to read and locate
