This activity book from Guest Hollow is chock-full of activities that cover multiple subjects! It is suggested for grades first through fourth but my older kids are excited about several of the activities in the book. Homeschool families will appreciate the variety of projects that can be enjoyed by the whole family at the same time. This is a really sweet activity guide that will provide lots of fun memories.

This activity book goes perfectly with the Science of Seasons book. It takes the book to a whole other level of learning and fun. Not only do kids learn Science, but they are also challenged with learning activities. In addition they get some Art, Cooking, Geography, and so much more. A worth while investment. Awesome!!!

The Science of Seasons Learn-and-Play Activity Book is what the title says. The activities include science experiments, crossword puzzles, mazes, recipes and paper dolls with background scenery. The activity book really helps in a hands-on way to make the seasons understandable. It is a valuable resource and an excellent companion to the book, The Science of Seasons. My kids, ages 5-13, have enjoyed doing these activities and learning about the seasons.

We love this wonderful companion book to “The Science of the Seasons!” A multitude of fun and exciting activities are delightfully illustrated and explained in the activity guide. My ten year-olds can’t wait to get started and are inspired by these excellent ideas. This is a great book for homeschooling moms like me that struggle with concrete ways to explain difficult science concepts. I like the way that these activities can be understood and enjoyed by multiple levels and ages, perfect for those families who enjoy learning together.

I love Jennifer’s books and I’m thrilled that she provides this activity book to go along with the Seasons book. The content in this activity book really make the learning come to life. I am using the activity book with my 4 and 5 year old boys to help bring understanding, enjoyment, and hands-on learning into our home lessons. We really enjoyed the paper mâché globe because it was fun and it really secured that concept for them. As a former teacher, I think this activity book would be a great resource for a classroom teacher or home school parent that is teaching seasons.
