After reading chapter 29 in The New Answers Book 2, write a paper on why abortion is wrong. 2nd option: Look at the fact that most states have homicide laws that recognize unborn victims. Why is it that abortion is O.K. when there are these types of laws protecting unborn babies in most states? Write a letter (to anyone – fictional or real) explaining why you think the homicide laws should be changed to include abortion as unlawful. Extra credit: Research Kermit Gosnell, the abortion doctor and his trial. He was convicted of murder for failed abortions where the babies were killed after being born alive. Include some information about him or his trial in your letter or paper. Note: Sensitive students should not do this part of the assignment as there are some graphic descriptions of failed abortions, etc. | |||||
